I care for our community, youth, and the future they will inherit...
I grew up in Oregon and appreciate having spent a large part of my life in the beautiful Willamette Valley. I completed my undergraduate education at Willamette University and have remembered the University's motto "Not unto ourselves alone are we born." Service is an important part of my life. I recognize that many of the incredible things about Wilsonville is due to the careful efforts of leaders that have served our city before me. I want to make contributions that will benefit the future of our city and its residents.
During my time in college I was able to complete research and work in Chicago, IL. After school I moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where I married my husband, Anton. Together we have loved to travel to many parts of the world. All of these experiences have shaped how I understand my home, different perspectives around me, and the opportunities and challenges people face. We have lived in the Villebois neighborhood since 2009, and have appreciated the amazing people in this unique and caring community.
My role as a parent is always prominent in my mind. I enjoy being mom to my daughter and am continuously grateful for what I learn from her, and the process of guiding her through childhood.
Professionally I have worked in research and analytics, and am currently working on my Masters of Science degree in Business Analytics from Syracuse University.
